The Beaches Launch Pad offers teenagers paid employment that is flexible around their goals
We recognise that the transition from secondary education to full time employment is hard and that the workplace can be daunting
With an open mind and a positive attitude, our employment program is designed to introduce teens to the workforce, highlighting opportunities, sharing skills and importantly earning a fair wage
Employment is offered on a part-time, casual basis with an award wage. In addition, we offer wrap around support, including advice on resume writing, interview skills and job hunting
Upon completion of our program each mentee will benefit from having The Beaches Launch Pad on their resume and our contacts details as a reference as they go forward with increased confidence on their employment journey
Supported Start
1: A Safe Introduction to Work
Our team provides a supportive environment where teens can build confidence and learn workplace expectations
Learning & Earning
2: Real Jobs, Real Skills, Real Pay
Participants gain hands-on experience while earning an award wage. Through part-time, casual employment they learn teamwork, responsibility and valuable workplace skills
Pathways Forward
3: Preparing for the Future
Alongside employment we offer wrap-around support including resume writing, interview preparation and job-search guidance.
